You get a glimpse of everyday",real "Tuscan living in Bagnano. The superstrada ,(Al road),to Florence and Siena is ten minutes drive away.You are in Florence in 30 minutes and Siena in 40 minutes.All the other main Tuscan sights, Lucca ,Volterra,Leonardo's Vinci andPisa are ar hours drive.The train station,in Certaldo,gives you easy access to all the aboved mentioned places and the whole of Italy! Not only,the area around Bagnano is worth visiting. It's fun to discover the night life of the local villages and towns:concerts in the Piazzas,locally produced food dancing in town squares, under the full moon.
It's a place for outdoor people,nature lovers.It's ideal for hiking and bike riding witt foot paths going through the most spectacular countryside.There are many wine and olive oil farms to visit.
The Gallo Nero area is 20 minutes drive awayFor children the park of Pinocchio in Collodi is not far.Nearby there are open air swimming pools, tennis courts and riding centres.Viareggio is yust over an hours drive with its sandy beaches it is perfect for children.
The owners live nearby and both speakEnglish.They are always ready to help and give advice.They both know Florence well and know how to help you get round the best art museums of the world,such as the Uffizi.
