Our apartment is in the beautiful countryside near Arezzo, ideal to visit all Tuscany.
Large apartment at the first floor of the farmhouse, with access from outside stairs and small loggia shared with Il Covo apartment.Entrance directly into Sitting/dining room with kitchen. A small passage leads to a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.From the dining /sitting room area a wooden stair goes to the upper room : very spacious and sunny with three single beds. The appartment is tastefully finished and furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped.This accomodation can sleep up to 9 people, since it is possible to add to cots to the upper room, without loosing space.( No extra cost for extra people and cots) |

Borgo Santa Maria in Valle is on the left bank of the Arno river(18 km from Arezzo) near the ancient Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Valle, the origins of which date back to the late Middle Ages. A few kilometres from the house is the ancient hamlet of Laterina with its perfectly preserved town centre and ancient castle, the scene of fierce battles fought between the Municipality of Arezzo and the Florentine Republic.Our attractive holiday home has been created by the lovingly and painstaking renovation of a large XVII century estate , near the ancient Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Valle, the origins of which date back to the late Middle Ages. The farmhouse, divided into one cottage and four apartments, is set on a panoramic position on the gentle slopes that descend towards the Arno river.
A large garden equipped with tables, chairs, canopies, with (7 x 12 metres) swimming pool surrounds the compound. All the apartments have been tastefully finished, fully furnished and they have been endowed with TV sat, and their own heating system. Laundry room available for common use. BBQ.
The quiet, hilly, panoramic area is only three kilometres from the beautiful medieval hamlet of Laterina. The lodgings enjoy countryside privacy, close proximity to the attractions and amenities of Arezzo; they are also the ideal base for many excursions to all Central Italy. Firenze, Siena, Cortona, lake Trasimeno and Perugia are not so far away; since there are good motorways and rail links with the rest of Tuscany .The shopping lover will find nearby many outlets of the most famous Italian fashion brands : such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi, D&G…

Following the old Etruscan road called "la 7 ponti", you will have the chances to visit many beautiful villages, full of history and fascination, and to discover one of the most interesting and breathtaking natural landscape created by nature:"Le Balze" the crags, where the forces of natural elements have carved over centuries, the hills to create one wonderful natural scenery. .Here in the "Valdarno Superiore – Upper Valdarno" you can still breeze the old Tuscan spirit.
