Budapest holiday apartment, with lots of floor space, 90m2, in lovely classic building.
Newly furnished/equipped in 2007 to a good level.
7 single people if want a bed each, or max. 9 people if 2 people on the sofa bed and 2 people on the double bed.
3 large ceiling fans(1.3mtrs, 3 speeds), international cable TV, washing machine.
Great location just 80 metres from Raday utca, full of restaurant/bar terraces, like Soul Cafe. The area with the most terrace restaurants and bars in Budapest (more than Liszt Ferenc and more than Vatci Utca).
A short walk to the National Museum of Hungary (400m)(the permanent exhibition is always free entry), the Danube(200m), main city market (250m)(a must visit for most tourists...also good value hot meals and souvenirs upstairs), the Applied Arts Museum (300m), Vatci utca, Kelvin Ter metro (200m).
Good transport connections to the rest of the city via metro, tram line 2 beside the Danube up to Margarit Island (a 'must do' tram ride), and tram 4 and 6 which go along the big boulevard in a half circle up to Margarit Island and beyond.
The Raday area has a lot going on since it has a lot of customers.....there is a live music venue about 150 metres away...and often there will be small live music events in bars/restaurants. Local clubs/discos include Buddha Beach and School Club.
Walk to A38.hu music boat, venue (open air) and Pincesinhaz about 200 metres away.
Prices (for summer ). 1-5 people= 80Euros/night: 6 people = 90 Euros: 7 people = 100 Euros: 8 people= 110 Euros: 9 people= 120 Euros.

Take the lovely tram ride on line 2 beside the Danube river to go to visit the Parlament building or Margarit Island to the north of the city centre. |

| The building has a large internal courtyard which you can use if you wish...perhaps for locking bicycles (or at the apartment)....
The balcony by the apartment is south facing, useful if you want to have a tea or beer in the sun....or sit outside in the evening...the 2nd table can be taken out there.
In the kitchen 8 people can sit together for dinner (with chairs for 9 !).
There is a radio/CD player...but no Hi-Fi system. |
