The apartment is on the Grand Boulevard of Budapest, with excellent public transport links, but sights can easily be reached on foot. Restaurants, banks, and Metro station, are all within 2 minutes walking.
How to get there:
*Nearest Metro station: "Blaha Lujza Ter" (red line=M2)
*Nearest tram stop: "Blaha Lujza Ter" or "Wesselenyi utca" (tram #4 or #6)
-From the airport
1.: By public transport: take the blue public bus (BKV+) from the airport to Kőbánya-Kispest terminus. Here you change for the blue Metro line (M3) to "Ferenc Körut" station. Here, change for tram #4 or #6 (direction: Moszkva ter) and get off at the 4th stop, "Wesselenyi utca". On the right hand side of the Grand Boulevard, walk backwards to the Turkish restaurant where you will find Erzsebet krt. 21. Duration: 60 min. Please look at the map.
2.: The airport minibus would be 2300 HUF per person (about 9.6 EUR and 45 min). The taxi you can take from the airport (Tourist taxi) costs about 25 EUR per car (35 min).
3: On request, we can provide an airport pick up for 17 EURO per car.
-From Nyugati Train Station:
Take tram #4 or #6 (direction Petofi hid or Moricz Zsigmond korter) and get off at the 3rd stop, "Wesselenyi utca". On the left hand side of the Grand Boulevard, walk 100 meters and next to the Turkish restaurant you will find Erzsebet krt. 21. Duration: 10 min. (The taxi should cost 1500 HUF maximum).
-From Keleti Railway Station:
Take the red Metro (1 stop) to Blaha Lujza Square or take the same stop by bus #7. Here, walk down the Grand Boulevard about 200 m and next to the New York Palace you will find Erzsebet krt. 15 minutes duration. |
