Downtown Oasis Apartment is located a few minutes walk away from the biggest Metro hub in Budapest, where all three lines meet, so you can easily reach any part of the city. There are several tram and bus stops nearby that take you to the Buda side within a couple of minutes. The entertainment quarter starts at the opposite side of the road so within ten minutes walk you'll come by hundreds of different kinds of restaurants, cafes, clubs, pubs, theaters.
Most sites are within walking distance: the second biggest synagogue of Europe is right by our doorstep, the National Museum, St. Stephen Basilica, the famous Vaci street, the world heritage Andrassy avenue, and Vorosmarty square are within five minutes walk away; it takes you only ten minutes to walk to the the State Opera House, the Chain Bridge, the Parliament Building, the Danube Corso and enjoy it's breathtaking views. If you like to walk, you need not more than 30 minutes to reach the Castle District on the Buda side, or taking the opposite direction, the foot of the Gellert Hill. You can also choose to take a tram or a bus, they are only a few stops away. |
