My name is Tony Larsen and I�m an Australian backpacking my way around Europe using London as a base. Recently I stayed at Bella Vista Apartments, Pelekas Beach on Corfu Island and would like to recommend this place to other Australians who will be traveling through the Greek Islands.
The Studio room I received was well appointed and had an amazing view of Pelekas Beach. From the moment we arrived we received friendly and efficient service from the three generations of family who run Bella Vista and it gave us the impression that we were staying with a Greek family and not in a hotel. The food was amazing and I found it to be the best of any of the other restaurants that we visited during our week stay. The pricing was great value for money in both the restaurant and bar and the manager Sofia organized all of the activities that we wish to do on the Island at a discounted rate through her long association with the locals of Corfu. It was extremely quite and relaxing but close enough to the local night spots not to be a problem for commuting.
I highly recommend that Bella Vista be included in your Corfu addition of Lonely planet and would be quite happy to answer any questions you may have for me. Thank you for you time,

We had a complementary airport pickup early in the morning, a 20 minute drive to Bella Vista Apartments where we four started our 8 day holiday.
Bella Vista is close to all the sights and shopping areas, a rental car or rental scooter is needed to get around as the Apartments are just off the coast.

We found out over the coming days that it�s a family run business for over 20 years. The Hospitality is outstanding and we have been treated like family all through our stay. A warm welcome every time we came back after a long day at the sights or at the beach.
All of Bella Vista looks newly refurbished the Apartments themselves have a new and fresh look and feel to them, the bathrooms are clean and kept so by regular housekeeping.

Bella Vista has a very relaxing dinning area, where a fully stocked bar plays soothing music to the sun going down. The food menu is outstanding value for money, with every meal cooked to ones taste. A very homey meal with care put into each grill or dish, we found ourselves coming back time and time again. Breakfast goes on till 10:30 for all you late sleepers and meals are made throughout the day.

All in all this was an awesome break from the city, with great hospitality, great food, fantastic beaches and mountainous areas; the only thing wrong is that we have to leave, but believe me I will be back and am already making plans to return. I highly recommend that Bella Vista be included in your Hotel list and would be quite happy to answer any questions you may have for me.
