You will live in a very nice and comfortable apartment in over 1,350 square feet, which features one master bedroom (one king size bed), and a second bedroom with two full-size beds (bunk bed) and a third full-size bed. The unit sleeps up to 5 persons comfortably (please ask for special accommodations in case you�re traveling with more people.) There is plenty of closet space available in the bedrooms. We provide bedding and sheets. The second bedroom is also the kids� playroom, equipped with various toys and games. Our apartment also features a spacious family/living room, a dining room that seats 8, a full kitchen with a breakfast nook that seats 5, a full bathroom with tub and shower, and a guest half-bath. There are hardwood floors in all rooms�no grungy carpets! The family room has a LCD TV with European satellite programming, and a DVD player. A large sofa with many cushions allows you to relax while reading a book or watching a movie. Complimentary high speed internet!

Waldgirmes is a small and charming village located in central Hesse (Mittelhessen) in the middle of Germany, which is centrally located in Europe. It is part of the Lahnau community, located right between the two neighboring towns Wetzlar and Giessen (approximately 4 miles distance to each). The name �Lahnau� is derived from the nearby Lahn River, a right tributary of the Rhine. Our apartment is located at the edge of the village, adjacent to lush meadows and beautiful forests.
With only 50 miles distance from Frankfurt and its overall good integration into the German highway (Autobahn) system, Waldgirmes is easily accessible from Frankfurt Rhein-Main International Airport, just a 45-minute drive away. |

An elegant dining room comfortably seats up to 8 persons. This allows you to enjoy meals and to casually sit together with friends while having a glass of wine. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric stove and oven, a microwave, a full-sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a coffee machine. You can store groceries for a week or a month easily in the pantry. We also provide laundry soap, soaps in bath rooms, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, paper towels, towels, an alarm clock, telephone, and linens. A washer and dryer are available for your use in a laundry room in the basement.
The bedrooms offer beautiful views into the backyard and the open meadows and forest nearby. There is a spacious balcony that allows you to sit out on warm summer evenings to watch nature (while drinking a glass of wine, apple wine or some good German beer). A large back-yard with a park-like setting is an ideal place for sitting outside in the evenings during the warm summer months. We also have a gas BBQ. |
