The apartment was originally designed by an architect as a one-bedroom with a large living room and open kitchen. The owners expanded their home by adding on the apartment next door to build this fabulous 4 bedroom duplex.
When you first walk in you are struck by the well decorated very classy modern apartment in a classic Parisian atmosphere.
On the ground floor you have the four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with toilet facilities) and a separate WC. How convenient when you have a house full of family!
All the bedroom overlook a courtyard in the building complex. The master bedroom, has a queen sized bed sleeping two adults very comfortably. There is a second bedroom which can accommodate two adults and contains a double sofa bed. The third bedroom with a single bed and a "lit tiroir" (single bed in the drawer). The last bedroom has a single bed which can be converted into a double bed thus accommodating 1 or 2 people.
A large hall closet gives you plenty of space for your luggage and your clothes.
Walk up the steps to the second floor of the apartment and discover an amazingly large living space with wooden beams running throughout. This large, airy, bright space is so inviting you might find yourself not wanting to leave the apartment.
The open kitchen overlooking the dinning area allows you to make fantastic meals. The owners who love to cook have thought of everything possible to prepare a delicious feast or just a nutritious breakfast. This convivial space allows you to still remain part of the action and not ignore or be ignored by your family.
There is a small office/playroom where you have access to the internet if you've come with your laptop computer.
The living room area has a small sofa bed suitable for two children or one adult. You also have a stereo, television with local channels and DVD player with a small selection of DVDs.
The decor is simply stunning but you don't have to worry, it is definitely child friendly.
So whether you are relaxing by one of the upstairs windows or taking a nap in any of the inviting bedrooms, this apartment has everything to offer a demanding family.

| Perhaps no other street name in Paris best suits the area as well as that of rue du Commerce. The street is dotted with just that -commerce- from designer labels to cheese shops and boulangeries, you do not need to go far to get French fashion, French food & most importantly, French pastries.
This is a more residential side of Paris but don't be fooled by the calm exterior there is definitely a pulse beating here and you are still within easy reach of all that Paris has to offer.
Tourists often ask to be near the Eiffel Tower and this area makes that very much possible. The apartment is just 15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower but thankfully you do not have to sacrifice ease of transportation to be close to one of Paris' most visited monuments.
Metro lines 8 at Commerce, 10 Emile Zola, and 6, 8 and 10 at La Motte Piquet make it easy to get around Paris to get to the Latin Quarter, out to Versailles and even up to Montmartre. |
