The apartment is placed nearby Place du Tertre, with it's street artists, Museums, Cabarets, Cafes and Restaurants. Sacre Coeur basilica is situated in front of the house door. Montmartre is a very artistic quarter in Paris, with its tiny cobble stoned streets and a real village atmosphere. Around the corner from the Apartment, you will discover Picasso's Studio and living Quarters "le Bateau Lavoir", or Renoir's home "Le Chateau des Brouillards". This is the Quarter where also all the other famous Artists, like Van Gogh, Bonnard, Utrillo, Pissarro, Dali, Degas, Manet, Modigliani, or Lautrec used to live and to work. In front of the house-door of the Apartment, is the "Place du Tertre", with it's street-Artists and Portrait painters.
