Ours is the best location in Paris. The closest métro stop is Etienne Marcel (Line 4). But 3 other stations are also within a 5-minute walk: Châtelet, Les Halles and Réaumur-Sebastopol. Collectively, they are served by 9 of Paris’ 18 lines (2 more are just 10 minutes away). Direct lines run to both airports, and to 6 of Paris’ 7 main rail stations.

A bedroom area, with a double bed. There is also a futon sofa, which can fold out to a second double bed, and a large chair that can be converted to a single bed. So the place could technically sleep 5, though they would find it quite crowded.
A pleasant dining area beside the kitchen with an expandable table and four chairs. Sliding glass doors in this area look out onto the pedestrian-only street.
A fully-equipped kitchen: 4-burner stove, full-size oven, fridge, clothes-washer....
Heat is by means of modern, electric room heaters.
Unsurprisingly for a building built before Columbus was born, the ceilings are low, reflecting the statures of the day. Basketball players beware! Also, it is a 4th floor walkup (bring your grappling hooks), via a crazy staircase added as an afterthought in the 15th century (when the previous, outside staircase went out of fashion). Tons of charm, but a bit athletic. |
