This is an unusual apartment in that the owner lives there for part of the year and only lets it out in the other months.
The apartment was attractively refurbished a few years ago and is comfortable and stylish. It is on the top floor and has the advantage of a beautiful roof terrace overlooking town. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs to enjoy 'al fresco' meals. There are sun-loungers for relaxing in the sunshine.
The master bedroom has a double bed and good storage space. There are double doors from the master bedroom onto another sunny balcony. The second bedroom has a sofa which converts into a double bed and is only available in the summer period.(Mid June to end september). There is a good walk in shower room.
The kitchen is compact but is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven and good size fridge.
There is also a washing machine in the apartment.
The living room is attractively furnished with a settee, armchair dining table and chairs, TV radio, cd player.
The apartment is on the 6th floor with lift and there is even a security door!
During the period December, January, February and one week in May (Monte Carlo Rally) only 1 bedroom for 2 people will be available. There is a possibility to put an extra air mattress for a 3rd person into the living room if needed.

The flat is equal distant from the main railway station and the sea.
The apartment is in the district called 'Musiciens', between rue Verdi and Rue Rossini. From here it takes only 10 minutes walk to the ocean (Promenade des Anglais) and to the railway station on Avenue Thiers. Around the corner and close to the apartment there is a good selection of shops, supermarkets, wonderful bakeries and two indoor markets. Nearby there is also the pretty park of Alsace-Lorraine.
There are two good restaurants which are both less than 5 minutes walk: Occitanie where the the set meals are under 20 euros and for those who enjoy exotic food, the Barachois offering specialties from the island La Reunion.
For movie lovers we recommend the Rialto cinema, under 10 minutes walk from the apartment, where you can watch films in English. |

Arrivals 4PM, and vacation by 10AM. Saturday to Saturday rentals.

Our holiday in Nice was very pleasing and both Margaret and I feel that the apartment contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the holiday because it was so comfortable, spacious and quiet.
We loved the garden balcony and spent many peaceful afternoons sunbathing in private.
The proximity to the town centre, the shops and the beach was just about right; not too close that it was noisy - and not too far to walk at ease.
The choice of local shops and markets was also extensive.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Annemarie, we thought your apartment was absolutely delightful! The balconies were perfect - one for clothes and the other was a little oasis in the city! Being so high up, it really felt you could be anywhere.
You have decorated the flat very much in the way we probably would so it felt like a home from home! It was lovely to get a wee glimpse of your travels in the photos in your hall. We decided you were a teacher (like us!) with long holidays to travel far.
The apartment was in a good location for us with the short walk to the promenade and train station...Claire was very pleasant and a great help....We would thoroughly recommend your apartment to friends and perhaps we would be able to return ourselves sometime?

Recommendation: We own the apartment directly below Ms Schober's. We also rent our apartment all year for holiday lettings. We can confirm that Ms Schober has a beautiful apartment, with a spacious roof terrace for eating out and fabulous views across the town and to the hills. The apartment has been fully refurbished and is very tastefully decorated, attractive and comfortable. We highly recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Nice.

I found it very clean and comfortable and the balcony is ideal to sit
and relax on an evening.
It was quiet and secure, with the added bonus of the shop directly in
the block.
The Apartment is well situated and the beach and shops are all within an
easy walk.
The transport is also very good for exploring nearby places, even the
market in Italy.
