Excellently located between the traditional Cypriot town of Paralimni and the newer area of Kapparis, there is a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and traditional tavernas just 5 minutes away. A local fruit & veg market and a large modern supermarket are within a few minutes walk; and traditional local handicraft shops nestle amongst coffee shops and modern boutiques surrounding the 3 churches of various styles and ages in the central square of Paralimni.
In contrast, beautiful 'Fig Tree Bay' and the picturesque nature reserve of 'Cape Greco' are just a 10-15 minute drive away; a selection of reputedly some of the best sandy beaches on the island are just 5-10 minutes drive, making this a lovely and convenient location for a relaxing family holiday; ideal for couples and families of all ages.
For those seeking the more 'lively' and 'adventurous' past times, the resort towns of Protaras and Ayia Napa are just a 10-15 minute car drive away - 20 minutes by bus. However, many of the attractions, bars, restaurants, etc., in these 'resort' areas are closed during the low season - November to May. |
