Stay in a traditional Istrian stone house in the ancient town of Barban, with spectacular views of the Ucka mountain range, situated less than 10 kms from the sea and the best coves in Istra at Krnicka Poret. 200metres from the main Pula to Rijeka road and easy driving to Pazin, Zminj and Vodnjan, this really is central to all the best tourist destinations and yet deep in to the nature of Istra and its peace and quiet.
The accommodation comprises a double bedroom, bathroom, large hallway and an open plan living/ kitchen/dining room (with optional twin divan beds).
Outside is a garden with BBQ and ample parking space.
This would suit either a couple or a family of up to 4. The family produce their own wines, cheese and vegetables and are sure to share plenty with you. Evelina is sure to cook you a splendid istrian meal to welcome you and one of our favorite restaurants is 50metres up the road. This is a truely friendly place to stay with lovely walks and history around every corner.

Barban is close to Labin / Rabac, Vodnjan, Zminj, Pazin, Svetvincenat and a short day out will see Rovinj, Porec, Pula and all other parts of Istra as our customers have told us this really is central on the road system.
Enjoy istrian friendship at its best with this lovely family in this quiet, historical little "town" more the size of an English village but with the shops!

| A Washing machine is available for the use of the guests. Eating out here is cheap and really the better part of the holidays! The facilities here are enough but not copious. You should enjoy the basic beauty and feel and tradition of the apartment and the Istrian friendliness and helpfulness of your hosts. Our holidaymakers have all felt exceptionally well looked after and loved the homeliness of the apartment. |

| No meals are provided as contract. But the hosts are Istrian and you certainly will not go hungry. A good restaurant is 50metres up the road and at least 5 good restaurants are within a ten minute drive! |

We felt really good in the apartman, the hospitality, the place and the view was really good.
WE could enjoy the silence and if we needed some programs, we went to Pula. The beach is wonderful everywhere, people are really nice.

Apartment Uckar is a really nice place. Perfect starting point for short daily trips. Beautiful area very quiet and not too far from major attractions.
