House Dover - St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados on the south-coast: You can rent rooms with shared facilities or the complete duplex house, guest-house / apartment / cottage in Barbados main tourist area. As it is in a side road you have no noise but everthing what you might need for a vation in walking distance (5 min.)The guest-house is built from coral stone and elegant furnished in a Caribbean-European style. The guesthouse has 3 different type of three bedrooms (one very large, a medium and a small), a living room and a lounge, kitchen, two bathrooms, one patio and one balcony.
One or two of the small and medium bedrooms, a lounge, balcony and bath room upstairs can be rented like an apartment. In the small lounge (the lounge is upstairs for the guest of the small/medium rooms) is a refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster as well as a balcony belong to those guests rooms.
You can either just book one or two bedroom with shared facilities and would have to share the bathroom, lounge and balcony or book with own bathroom and the other room would not be rented out. All guests and the owner have the use of the kitchen.
Small bedroom 1 to 2 persons, the medium bedroom for max. 3 persons.
All bedrooms have a ceiling-fan, air-condition (seperate charge 5 US per night) and mosquito nets on windows.
There is a SAT TV and a Stereo Set in the lounge.
Minimum rental for complete guesthouse 6-8 persons is 14 nights.
Fresh sheets, towels (not beach towels) and room service are provided twice per week. The distance to Dover beach is approx. 100 yards and the Casuarina + Turle Beach Club Hotel is approx. 200 yards away. Other beaches are close by.
From the airport it will take about 20 min. to your accommodation
The center of St.Lawrence Gap (main south coast tourist area) is about 5 walking minutes away. In St. Lawrence Gap you will find hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, banks and different shops. The supermarkets have a large variety of food and Deli.
Golf, Squash, Tennis, Fitness center and most water sports like diving and Jet Ski�s are easy accessible.
The bus stop is about 200 yards/meter away. There are busses, mini-busses and route-taxis going to the capital Bridgetown (appr. 15 min) and to other parts of the island until midnight.
The bus fare is 1.50 BDS$.
Our guests, who book the transfer at confirmation of accommodation, would be picked up and will be taken to their accommodation through us. Please look for a sign "Karibik B�dos Tours Inc." at the airport. The airport transfer one way trip, is 17.00 US $ 1-2 Person and is similar to the taxi. Ask for rates for larger group.
