House "Seaside", built in 1920 and beautifully restored in 1993, is a charming, coral stone building situated at the water's edge on the western end of Silver Sands beach. This elegant, colonial style house is a striking ocean front property.
The two bedrooms / two bathrooms apartment on the ground floor has an airy, open plan design. Exposed coral stone walls combine with antique and modern furniture to create an atmosphere that is stylish yet throughly comfortable. Two French doors lead from the living room onto a spacious patio which is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. An elevated wooden deck, cooled by the gentle tradewinds and sheltered by a coconut tree, is perfect spot for alfresco dining or simply relaxing and letting the magnificent panorama of turquoise Caribbean water delight the eyes.

Clustered on the southern most tip of the Caribbean island of Barbados, Inchcape resides on Ananias Point right on the edge of Silver Sands Beach.
Facing into the gentle breezes of the trades, Inchcape overlooks one of the islands most beautiful unspoiled white sand beaches to it's left while foamy rollers pound against the coral rocks at the western end of Silver Sands' beach.
Inchcape is surrounded by brilliant clear blue water. Visibility is undisturbed at up to fifty feet. Swimming and snorkeling are superb. Surfing is exceptional in the shorebreak only steps away from your house.
Most noteworthy is it's location as one of the best wave windsurfing spots on earth. Life is casual and unhurried in the true Barbadian tradition.
As Inchcape is located where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean the ocean can look like a pond on one day and can have waves out on the reef and a shorebreak on one part of the beach. The eastern half of the beach is usually calm and suited for swimming and seabathing. |

We have been back in England for a month now - how time flies! I just wanted to say how marvellous our time at Inchcape was. It is truly a paradise and we are still talking about it and wishing we were on that marvellous sun deck overlooking the sea. The trade winds made such a difference to us as we were able to sit in the sun for so much longer than we usually can in Barbados. Everything was just perfect - and I have to tell you I think your staff are superb. You were away for most of our visit yet their dedication was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and I thought it was quite amazing when, on our first night, Ronda's husband drove me into Oistins so I could get a phone card - and not only that, but Ronda insisted on coming round the supermarket with me and this was at a time when she should have been going home. You should be very proud of your staff (I'm sure you are) but I wanted you to know how great they were in your absence.
........................funny how I just CAN'T drum up too much enthusiasm but keep thinking of Inchcape!
