| Guestbook: “We stayed at Okazaki Villa for four months from October 2008. The apartment had been recently refurbished, was fitted out with a good standard of furniture, and was more tastefully decorated and kitted out than other apartments we looked at. The bedroom with twin beds was a comfortable size, and the kitchen/living/dining room was huge by Japanese standards as a result of two rooms being knocked together. The apartment being on the fourth floor is a bonus as there are good views from the living room which is also light and airy, none of which can be taken for granted in Kyoto. Okazaki Villa is located in a pleasant area near Heian shrine and around half an hour’s walk from the centre of town. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment for a single person or couple for a long or short stay."
