Directions & Transportation
- Taxi:
- Taxis operates from the airport to Basel at around 40 Euros, to Mulhouse at 35Euros during the day and 50Euros at night. Fares to Freiburg range from 110Euros. There are numerous taxi services available.
- Bus:
- BVB (Basel Bus company) Tel:(0)61 685 1414 operates Bus no 30 and Airline Bus no 50 to Basel and takes about 20 minutes to reach Basel Train Station. The Sudbaden Airbus operates a service to Freiburg and there is a Shuttlebus service (tel: (0)38 979 5056) to Colmar. Buses to Mulhouse leave every 60 to 90 minutes and takes about 30 minutes to reach Mulhouse Central Train Station. Fares range from 5.50 upwards.
- Road:
- Travel options to Basel and Mulhouse include buses, shuttles, taxis and hired cars.
Airport facilities
- Airport Info:
- The Information Desk tel:00 33 3 89 90 25 11 or 00 41 61 325 25 11, is located on level 2 of the airport terminal. Lost Property can be collected here daily between 9am and 6pm.
- Baggage:
- Baggage trolleys are available and baggage carousels are provided in the baggage reclaim area. There is no left-luggage facility at the airport. Lost Property is handled at the Information Desk.
- Money:
- Bureaux de Change and ATMs are available 24/7 and there is a Bank in the airport terminal.
- More Services:
- Telephones are located throughout the airport terminal. Toilets and baby change facilities are available on all levels in the terminal. Fax and photocopy facilities are available.
- Eating & Drinking:
- Bars to drink at and snack bars to eat at are situated on levels 2,3 and 4 of the terminal. On level 5 you will find a full on restaurant.
- Shopping:
- There are several duty free shopping opportunities in the International terminal.
- Business Facilities:
- Conference rooms (tel: (0)3 8990 2511 in France and (0)613 252 511 in Switzerland) are available for up to 50 people. Television, video recorder, overhead projector and slide projector is available as well as telephone, fax and photocopy facilities. There is a VIP Lounge available in the terminal.
- Disabled Facilities:
- The airport is wheelchair accessible and low level telephones and accessible toilets are available. CGS and Penauille provide services for the disabled at the airport and wheelchairs and also transport to and from aircrafts in courtesy vehicles is provided. Request these services a day before departure.
