Sousse Museum Located in the casbah the museum tells the story of the area with a fine display of Punic and Roman artefacts
Medina of Sousse The Great Mosque is to be found here, you'll enjoy wandering through the narrow streets with a selection of kitsch and some good finds if one takes the time to investigate. Impressive high walls and turrets surround this fortress.
The Ribat The small square fort was built in the 8th century, climb the round watchtower for great views of the area. Good place to do a little exploration.

The Promenade The beach in town is a long sandy expanse of Mediterranean and although lovely to tan and swim can be a bit annoying as the locals like to see you as fair game when it comes to flogging you junk.
The area gets lively at night with evening strollers. Camel rides are popular here.
Coralia Club Palm Beach You won't be bothered here as it's a private beach by the resort with the same name. Watersports on offer here include scuba and sea fishing.
Occidental Allegro Abou Sofiane Located in the centre of hotel country in Hamman Sousse is one of the best beaches in Tunisia, this beautiful wide fine sand beach is safe crystal clear shallow water with the bonus of super views. Perfect for the family and adjacent to this Arabic style hotel.
Sousse Restaurants and Bars
Restaurant Neptune Floating restaurant in the harbour closer to Port El Kantaoui. Nice atmosphere and vibe at this tourist trap, but it will not break the bank and the food is traditionally Tunisian as well as fresh seafood.
Tiptop Traditionally decorated with white walls and local artefacts, and homely ambiance, generous portions of Tunisian favourites like Lamb and couscous. A nice dining experience away from the usual hotel restaurants.
Restaurant Populaire Off the main square in town, Place Farhat Hached and serving good old fashioned mixture of dishes at an old fashioned price. You'll find this a popular budget alternative.
Sousse Bars & Clubs
Hotel El Hana Beach The nightlife in Sousse mostly revolves around the hotels and this spot does an interesting Tunisian night including belly dancing among other entertainment.
Riadh Palms Hotel Disco Have a wild evening of dancing and drinking here with its good sized dance floor, well stocked bar and free and easy holidaymakers a good ambiance and decor complete the picture.
Marhaba Disco Not as flashy as some of the other hotel discos, The DJs are going to get you on the floor whatever your taste is. Playing all the latest hits and some old favourites you are sure to enjoy yourself here.
