Walk down a golden beach and you will find a kaleidoscope of colours. Jeffreys Bay is world famous, not only for being home to the perfect waves, but also for the variety and quality of shells that is deposited on its unspoilt beaches every day of the year. Visit the shell museum which will give you an insight into the amazing world of shells and buy some shell art from the local crafts people. Dolphin sightings are almost a daily occurence & whales & their calves play in the bay between July & October. Jeffreys Bay is part of the whale route, & a visit to Plane Street's look out point is always exciting. People are drawn to Jeffreys Bay every year to enjoy the vast variety of activities on offer. There is also a lot of other entertainment including cinema, putt-putt, waterslide, paintball games & a fun fare. The area is the ideal base from which to explore the untamed Baviaanskloof where one will discover Africa in all magnificence. The Addo Elephant Park, Private Game Reserves, The Langkloof & Gamtoos Valley are all within easy travelling distance. Come home to be pampered in one of the fine Guesthouses, B&B's or backpacker establishments. Jeffreys Bay also has some of the finest sel-catering establishments in the Eastern Cape.
