Port Louis Beaches
Tamarin Bay - Well known in the 1960's as a legendary surfing spot, it still remains a favourite spot for Mauritian surfers when conditions are right. Beginner surfers will also be able to enjoy the waves as well as swimmers, although the reef is only 150m off shore. It has a relaxed, casual atmosphere with waves for all to enjoy.
Le Marine - Although a lagoon, it is relatively flat and clear which makes snorkelling and diving popular activities along this waterfront. It is also the most popular spot of the island for Mauritians who windsurf.
