Overview
Casa Retablo is a small cozy guest house located between Magdalena del Mar and San Isidro, five blocks away from the ocean and at walking distance from cafes, restaurants, gyms, Yoga schools, supermarkets, etc. Casa Retablo has a great location and many other districts in Lima can be reached easily by different means. It combines security and cleanliness, and you will be kindly adviced on where to go or what you can do in Lima (or Peru)
Casa Retablo has two comfortable rooms available and one Studio attached to it. The kitchen, the dining room, a small living room and the terrace are shared spaces. The kitchen is fully equipped and guests have their own storage spaces. There is Wi-Fi internet service, and phone calls to landlines within Lima are included in the price. Towels and linen are provided. There is also a small library with books in English and Spanish. Everything works in order to make you feel at home!
Rooms can accommodate one person each and the Studio can accommodate up to two guests. The minimum desirable stay is two weeks, although if you need to stay for a shorter period that is also possible.
Our rates are: (1) Room 1 is US$ 300 a month, or US$ 180 for two weeks; (2) Room 2 is US$ 340 a month, or US$ 220 for two weeks; (3) the Studio is US$ 420 dollars a month, or US$ 270 for two weeks.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
