Overview

We are located in Monterrico Sur, Surco. We are in a nice, quiet and safe area in Lima, 10 mins to Miraflores and 30 mins to Central Lima.
Our house is within walking distance to a major intersection (Av. Caminos del Inca and Av. Benavides), public transport, restaurants, grocery stores and Ricardo Palma University. Parks, gyms and tennis courts are also nearby.
Standard furnished bedrooms include a three quarters bed with linens and pillow, closet, desk with chair, fan and a 14' TV. Optional Extras : Double Bed, 21' TV, DVD player and Minibar - you decide (at an extra price).
Each bedroom has a cable hook up (90 National and International channels), Broadband Internet connection (DSL 600Kbps) and free Wireless Internet access are available for your Laptop or Pc, and we also have a telephone available to receive and make some "Free National and International phone calls", as well.
Our bathrooms are shared and have a shower, toilet and sink. One advantage is that there is always hot water. Other facilities include an available area in which to wash and dry your clothes and a dining room with table, chairs, fridge and microwave of which you can use. Rooms are positioned on the third floor and have a separate entry from our main house. Our house also has 24hrs Security TV.
The rooms are for single or double occupancy (couple only) for business people, vacationers, students and anyone who needs a comfortable and safe accommodation at a reasonable price. Rent starts at $100 USD per (four weeks with all the services above mentioned - electricity and water are included too). The rate depends of your length of stay and the kind of room you would like to rent (furnished and size of the room etc).
We can also arrange your transportation to and from the airport, food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for additional charges and store your luggage while you travel within Peru. You will be living with a nice family as this is not a Hotel but a 'home away from home'.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
