Overview
Looking for an unusual holiday ? A Chilean farm stay holiday,at Fundo el Rodeo de Torca gives you a great place to stay , fruit can be picked right off the trees , with many private trails to explore, and of course horses and our Llama herd.
A traditional Chilean Farmhouse, with Red tiled roof and thick Adobe walls is at the center of the farm . This is where all meals and refreshments are provided.
The cottages come well equipped to cover all your self catering needs. However Sole and her mum will provide extra meals as requested , and of course plenty of wonderful Chilean wine.
At 170 Acres the farm is a mixture. Our newly planted Olive Grove occupies the fields next to the Laguna , our well stocked fruit garden and horse pasture covers four acres in front of the main house, and behind are extensive wooded hillsides, home to our Llama herd , providing excellent hiking and horse riding trails with some stunning views of Lago Vichuquen, Laguna Torca and the Pacific Ocean , all at the same time !
Need help with your Spanish ? Soledad is a Chilena and speaks great English, and will be happy to help you with your Spanish studies .Charles is a British world traveler who came to Chile to build a boat, and got more than he bargained for by finding and marrying Soledad! We lived on the boat for 5 years before searching Chile for a home , eventually finding Fundo el Rodeo de Torca. The long search for a home was over and we believe we have found our "perfect " place.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
