Overview

This studio apartment with full ocean view is centrally located on Avenida Atlântica, on the same block as the popular Le Meridien Hotel (now Iberostar) in Leme.
The apartment is fully equipped and has a separate kitchen and bathroom. The equipment includes silent air conditioning, color cable TV (CNN, TNT, WB, ESPN, Discovery, ...), DVD player, music system,
telephone (free local calling until maxed out for the month), free broadband internet (you have to bring your own notebook),
stove and fridge with freezer, washing machine and steam iron, a queen size bed (separable in single beds), hardwood floors, kitchen utensils, a special security door and additional security through 24 hour doorman service.
The apartment is on the 5th floor of a residential building. The building has two elevators.

Location & area

The apartment is directly located at the world famous Copacabana beach, on the same block as the popular Le Meridien Hotel in Leme. Leme is a dead end area that prevents through traffic.



The best churrascaria in Rio, Marius, is only a short walk down towards the rock formation. Enjoy steak grilled to perfection, a unique experience. If you prefer seafood, choose Marius Crustáceos, the adjacent restaurant.
The excellent Italian restaurant D'Amici is located behind the apartment building.
The cafe and restaurant next to the apartment building features live music on Saturdays (early evening). From the window, you can watch people dance on the street.
There is a Zona Sul supermarket on the same block of the apartment to the right.
Standard ATM debit cards usually do not work in Rio de Janeiro, an exception is Citibank, left of Blockbuster on Av. N.S. de Copacabana (at Santa Clara).
