Overview

The view over the city is just incredible. One side of the apartment is completely windows with a balcony. Great view of the square and the entire valley. The apartment is fully furnished with all the things you need, oven, refrigerator, a wonderful hot shower, pots, pans, sheets, towels, teapot, etc. The rooms are very big.

Separate locked entrance to the apartment. The rent covers everything.

Location & area

Beautiful place. The view over the city is just incredible. Since one side of the apartment is completely windows with a balcony, you will enjoy just being home. During the day you can look over the town and across the Andes; at night the lights of the city are incredible, you have a great view of the square and the entire valley.

We have completely fallen in love with Sucre. It is a perfect size, not too small, it has all the comforts of home, plus restaurants, music, speakers, and an active political scene, yet not too big, the people around town recognize us and say their hellos, we have made many friends.

And, as a woman, I feel very safe here, I almost never get hassled and we never have had any problems with theft that most travelers run into.
I can suggest an excellent Spanish teacher, a laundry lady who will cheaply do your laundry at the house, a dentist, hospital, or whatever may come up.

Our Home In Sucre

We can only repeat what the other reviewers have already said about this beautiful apartment in the lovely colonial city of Sucre. We spent 6 months here; and it very quickly became home to us. Marcelo and Karla were perfect hosts - very helpful and accomodating with anything we asked. The apartment is completely set up with everything required; all you need to bring is your luggage. The location is great - close enough to the center of Sucre for walking; yet far enough away to be away from the noise and activity for a while. It's perfectly secure, and because it's situated on a short, gated street it's free from traffic noise. It's a great place to wake up in the morning and to come home to at the end of the day - beautiful views of the city, and a backyard oasis of grass, trees, and flowers filled with the sound of birds. It really gives you the best of both worlds!

It is very enyoyable in this beautiful apartment. It is clean comfortable and pleasant with a fantastic view of Sucre. There is balcony with beautiful morning glory flowers. The sala is really elegant with a big table and a comfortable lounge suite. There is good wifi free of charge and a free cleaning service. There is a well equipped kitchen that has a stove a sizable fridge and a microwave oven and everything you could need in a kitchen. The back yard has a lovely green lawn. The entrance is well secured here and
the visitor is completely safe. There are plenty of wardrobes and the bathroom is very clean and comfortable. The apartment is spacious and extremely pleasant to stay in for a couple like us. The landlord Marcelo is very helpful and makes sure you're comfortable. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the plaza. Also there is a cable TV here. This is a very pleasant place and makes you feel great to be in Sucre.

This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location with an amazing view over the stunning city of Sucre. Marcelo's family live in a separate apartment upstairs, are very courteous indeed and go to great lengths to make the visitor comfortable. I strongly recommend this wonderful apartment. You can go down the steps straight into the plaza and come back by taxi for only 4 Bolivianos. The shower is hot and pleasant, the bathroom is spotless and the bed is very comfortable. There is also a second bedroom. There is excellent wi-fi connection and there is a big TV with cable channels. Many of the channels show English movies and there is a CD player provided. All kitchen facilities are complete and very well maintained. A cleaner comes in each Saturday at no extra charge and there is a beautiful balcony. There is plenty of space for storage too. Marcelo and his family speak very good English and are happy to help if you need advice, but they also respect your privacy. There is a yard at the back that is completely secure and has a beautiful lawn. Entry to the main door is totally secure and you have another key to the gate of the very safe and secure front yard. This apartment is extremely quiet and you can sleep with complete tranquility. Staying in this very charming city is very pleasurable indeed when you can enjoy such wonderful, clean, safe, pleasant accommodation. This apartment is highly recommended.

This is probably the best apartment that you can find in Sucre. The location is great, very safe, and the view is always nice as well. I was there for about 6 months, and I wish that I could have stayed longer.

You will love this place, some of the prettiest views you can find. A gorgeous garden and pretty balcony to enjoy the sunshine. Marcelo and the whole family will make you feel welcome and taken care of. You won't find a better location or furnished apartment anywhere else in Sucre. Easy walking distance to the central square and all the restaurants and shops around it. In a very secure central area in the top of the historic colonial area. Well equipped eat-in kitchen and lots of space through-out the apartment. Big formal dining table that seats eight is perfect for catching up on work or writing, good internet, lots of light. Modern grocery store about 5 blocks away, movie theater and all kinds of restaurants easy to walk to. Shops with all the necessities just around the corner. Sucre is a college town with 35,000 students in the second oldest University in the Americas (older than Harvard) in the center of one of the most stunning areas in South America.
