Casa Glebinias, located in an extensive park constituted of vegetation and gardens, comprises two lodges, the family residence, and a big swimming pool.

The lodges, built with fine carpentry from antique regional properties that date from the beginning of the century, have been designed to fit in with the rural setting. There is a living room, a dinning room, a kitchen, and two bedrooms with private bath, all equipped with the necessary comforts.

Taking breakfast at the swimming pool with fruits of the orchard and reading in the living room are some of the experiences offered by this place.

Location & area

Casa Glebinias is located in Chacras de Coria, a picturesque village in the Province of Mendoza framed by the "Cordón del Plata" mountains. The almost thousand meters of altitude above sea level provide a pleasing climate, cool by night and warm by day, under a luminous sky. Tree lined streets with typical "acequias" (irrigation channels) invite a sunset promenade. The square at the centre of the village is enlivened with a quaint Flea Market full of exotic objects that attract the attention of the visitor. Artists, artisans and writers live in Chacras, and new inhabitants of various nationalities have enriched the surroundings with characteristic architecture.
Chacras de Coria is a well-known gastronomic center and prides itself on being in the Wine Route, where the outstanding Malbec wineries are. Its location at the foot of the Andes allows the eager visitor to practice every kind of adventure sport and winter activities, such us skiing, climbing, walking, rafting, horse-riding, parachuting, windsurfing and trekking. In addition, Cacheuta´s thermal waters and Potrerillo´s dam, because of their natural setting, are obligatory excursions. But Chacras is also close to the city of Mendoza, an active university, economic, cultural, and commercial center on the international route to Chile.
Art lovers can visit Fader’s Museum, the antique Guiñazú House, in Chacras de Coria. It holds the most important collection of this painter from Mendoza, one of the most representative artists of Argentinean art from the beginning of the century.
