Overview

The jungle of Misiones has a natural charm, magnetism and wonderful landscapes. This part of the province, located at 280 km of Posadas and 290 km of the Iguazu Falls, is known as the Region of the Waterfalls and Cascades, and here is where the magnificent Waterfalls of Moconá (Saltos de Moconá) are located.

Don Enrique Inn was erected on the heart of a thick ravine on the bank of the Paraíso River, of calm green waters. Everything in the inn has been built with wood from the area and it has spacious rooms. It consists of four bungalows with comfortable decks to relax and enjoy. The food is from the region, full of colors and intense flavors and textures.

Walking through the jungle, gazing at the lavish variety of plants and animals, visiting the beautiful waterfalls, enjoying appetizers next to the river and sitting next to the fire under a sky full stars, are some of the ways we propose to indulge our guests. We invite you to relax and enjoy.

The freshness of the forest gets through the windows, the rippling of the river is interrupted by a bird's singing coming from the dephts of the jungle. This symphony from nature invites you to rest in one of the hammocks hanging in the cabin's porch. Enjoying the sun resting in the deck a few meters away from the transparent waters of the Paraíso river, is another fine attraction.

The three spacious cabins were thought to relax and gaze at the landscape, all of them located next to the river and in harmony with the beauty outside.
The Mocona Falls, after the Iguazu falls, is the most important natural attraction in the province of Misiones. It is a geological imperfection that fractures longitudinally the trench of the Uruguay river. This imperfection of more than three kilometers (1.9 miles) forms a continuous jump that reaches a height of 15 meters (45 feet), that can be appreciated or not depending on the rivers water level.

Location & area

Don Enrique is located in the Center-East of Misiones Province. You can get to the province by air from Buenos Aires, via airports either in the city of Posadas or Iguazú, followed by a bus ride to the city of San Vicente where we will be waiting for you.You may also choose to ask for our own lodge transfer that will pick you up at the airport or at any point that you may select. If you prefer to come here with your own vehicle (only vehicles 4x4 can arrive)

Nature gives us its freshness and it richness in the form of fruits of the earth. If you are a vegetarian or simply just love the idea of biting a tomato harvested with your own hands, then we invite you to see our organic orchard. Here we grow - and almost with no exceptions - all the vegetables that are consumed in the inn. From the tapiocas, the lettuces and the zucchinis to the rucula, the oregano and the chives and don't forget the bananas, the papayas, the lemons, among others. Try its incredible sizes, colors and tastes!

At the margin of the Yaboti Biosphere reservation, our guests can take interpretative hikes in the woods with some native Guarani Indian guides along paths and trails leading to local waterfalls and cascades. They will witness some of the most amazing autochthonous fauna and set out on a photographic safari in our own 4x4 vehicle. Swimming in the Paraíso river is an incredible experience that you can not lose in hot seasons.
