A three story house built at the end of the 19th century, El Sol De San Telmo retains its original French Italian style and architecture while being newly restored with modern conveniences.

A place to stay in total comfort in the heart of tango. 2 minutes from Plaza Dorrego with its antique market and tango shows on weekends, 5 min. to different milongas and the city-center, and 15 min from Recoleta & Barrio Norte.

The 14 spacious bedrooms are well equipped and prepared for the different seasons with ceiling fans (A/C optional) and substantial heating during the winter. A shared kitchen is available on each floor as well as private or shared new bathtubs and showers.

The rooftop garden is available for dinning under the stars, for sunbathing during summer days or having the traditional 'asado' (BBQ) on sundays.

A dance studio with mirrors and parquet flooring open for guests private practice, also offers classes in Tango, Yoga, stretching, salsa and rock every day.

this accomodation is not what it appears to be on the website. on arrival the first thing that is apparent that the owner is very casual about arrangements and not organized. The only kitchen is very small and very dirty, chipped stained plates, knives and forks etc. No toaster, no jug etc with dishes just piled up in the sink. Rooms very dusty - check under the bed - and actual beds are a disgrace. told to hide our cash as cleaner is always looking for money but not passports.
would not recommend to anyone on this planet.
