Overview

Your ideal colonial style holiday retreat in the heart of Taupo. All the mod-cons you need to make it an enjoyable, relaxing stay.
Character 1920’s grand holiday cottage. 6 Bedrooms with 3 living areas, 3 dining areas & 2 bathrooms. Great indoor – outdoor flow with a tranquil country garden setting. Lovely views of Lake Taupo from the upstairs sunroom. Great location within walking distance to town & the lake. Plenty of parking for a boat & fully fenced.
Bed 1 – 1 x queen bed.
Bed 2 – 1 x double bed.
Bed 3 – 3 x single beds (or King Bed plus single)
Bed 4 - 1 x bunk beds plus 1 x single trundler bed.
Bed 5 (open to 2nd living area) - 1 x queen bed.
Bed 6 (off main lounge)- 1 x single bed.
2 Bathrooms - each containing bath (1 with spa bath), shower & toilet.
Fully fitted Kitchen with Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, & Dishwasher.
Main lounge has Sky TV, DVD,& Stereo.
2nd living area has TV & video. Washing Machine, ironing board & iron, Gas BBQ & outdoor furniture. Gas central heating piped throughout house, + gas fire in main lounge & Wood Burner fire in 2nd living area.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
