Welcome to Bush & Sea Boutique Bed and Breakfast accommodation. We look forward to sharing our ‘piece of paradise’ with you when you next visit Kaikoura.

For the ultimate in Kaikoura bed & breakfast experiences we have our “Bush” suite and our “Sea” suite in a separate wing in our home, with either a Queen or Super King / Twin bed and ground level, private access with outdoor deck area. The rooms feature tiled bathrooms, under floor heating, tea & coffee facilities, fridges, TV, DVD player and sound insulated walls for your comfort and privacy. We provide a selection of "feel good" DVD's often with a New Zealand link, as well as some great music choices. You can make use of our aromatic oil burners for total sensory enjoyment!

Enjoy your delicious "cooked" or "continental" breakfast on the main deck whilst drinking in the incredible views of Kaikoura’s sea, bush and mountains. We are only 5 minutes walk (or a 1 minute drive) to the town and Information centre, as well as the cafes and bars, so you can leave your car behind in our guest car park and enjoy Kaikoura’s sights on foot.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you.
