Nestled among the pines in scenic West Virginia, The Ponderosa Lodge offers rustically comfortable lodging and home style country elegance at family prices. With 10 guest rooms and our 1300 sq. ft. Great Room, The Ponderosa Lodge is the ideal place for family reunions, church and business retreats, weddings and receptions. We are conveniently located on Route 60, Midland Trail, 15 minutes from the New River Bridge and close to the regions best whitewater rafting, rock climbing and hiking.
Wakeup every morning to the warm aroma of fresh baked muffins or pastries. Our continental breakfast includes homemade muffins/pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice and milk. The hiking trails through the woods surrounding the lodge are perfect for relaxing and wildlife viewing. The woods and fields are home to over 40 migratory birds, deer, wild turkey, owls, bobcat, coyote, bear and an occasional eagle in the spring.
