Overview

Two stories of wrap-around porches and 7 fireplaces lead you to indulgent relaxation in this recently renovated 1820s hotel. Hopkins Ordinary is on the National Register of Historic Places and offers views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park.



The five guestrooms are furnished with antiques and have private baths. Enjoy the views from the porch right outside your room, or nestle in front of the in-room fireplace after a day of hiking or horseback riding. Antique and art shops and restaurants are steps away. The world-renowned Inn at Little Washington restaurant is just minutes away. At least a half dozen wineries, offering tours and tastings, are within 15 miles. A delicious country breakfast, made from local ingredients, helps to fuel your day.



The Garden Cottage sits behind the B&B by the river and provides a full kitchen and living room for those who want their own home in the country.

The five guest rooms in the main house have private bathrooms and porches. All but one have a wood-burning fireplace or stove.



Our Lavender room is very large with a clawfoot tub and separate shower. the Thyme room has a very private back balcony and is bright and sunny. The Oregano room is cozy, but has a very large shower dsigned for two. One of the rooms is handicap accessible; all are comfortable and well-appointed.



The cottage is behind the B&B by the river and has two bedrooms, one bathroom (with a shower made for 2) and a full kitchen, living room and dining room. Perfect for longer stays.
