Come and relax in our 1860 Vermont Farmhouse with spectacular views no matter what season. Surrounded by the Green Mountains, the Mad River Valley boasts beauty beyond belief ... true country living at its best. The Wilder Farm Inn and the Mad River Valley is a great combination for the vacation of your dreams.



We are located in the heart of it all. No matter what the season, there is plenty to do....hike, bike, canoe, kayak, play golf, swim, go antiquing, take a ride on a glider, browse the farmer's market, dine at the more than 30 delicious restaurants, check out the arts festival, watch the leaves turn, horseback ride, ski (Sugarbush & Mad River Glen), snow mobile, and much, much more. You can do it all.....or nothing at all.



We are a National Historical Society Registered and beautifully renovated eight guestroom farmhouse with private baths. While staying with us, you will enjoy a fireside breakfast made with fresh local, organic ingredients featuring David Hartshorne's fruits, vegetables and maple syrup along with Donald Terry's brown eggs and local farm-fresh milk. We also proudly serve Green Mountain Coffee and Liberty Teas - Vermont's best coffee and tea. Lounge outside with an afternoon snack. Enjoy our library and spacious common rooms. Then, when it just can't get any better, you will end your day on a comfy featherbed.
