Overview
Our house is located on the beautiful South Padre Island in Corpus Christi, just five miles away from the Gulf of Mexico, which is home to some of the most amazing birds, fishing and sight seeing in Texas.This makes you in the centre of some of the best locations to visit. If you are a winter Texan, then you will love our house for you well deserved vacation.
As stated, our house has four bedrooms, the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and is situated on the ground floor. The second double bedroom has doors which leads onto a balcony, where you can sit and admire the view. (see pictures) There are also two large twin rooms. All bedrooms are air conditioned, have lots of storage space for your clothes, and have remote control colour tvs in. Linen is provided too.
The downstairs is very spacious, with a computer, desk and workspace should you need to work whilst you are on vacation! There is a large lounge/dining room area with multi channel colour TV. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, fridge/freezer with ice making facility, dishwasher etc - everything you need, including the kitchen sink!
There is a utility room in which you can do your laundry, it has a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes hanging space and iron and ironing board.
On ground level there are doors leading out on to the balcony and boat dock, together with a barbeque waiting for you use after a day's fishing! There is also table and chairs, and balcony lighting for those darker evenings.

What the house has to offer:
Our wonderful four bedroom house will sleep up to eight people comfortably. The house is a very well equipped holiday/town home, and has many great features.
A boat dock you can use, alas we do not provide a boat!
A twin range gas BBQ*

A telephone with free local calls. (Local being Texas)
A large ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom
A full size bath with shower
All bedrooms have their own colour TV unit and spacesious wardrobe

The kitchen has everything you need, including cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer with ice making facility. Coffee machine, kettle (Brits don't forget tea bags - USA tea is just not the same!)
* Gas bottles can be exchanged on the island, we would not know the quantity of gas remaining , you will obviously need to check this before any BBQ.
** Printer ink levels are also unknown; you may need to supply your own ink and paper. (The printer is a HP office jet 4215xi all in one)

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
