Overview
In a cool, high mountain valley....
Maggie Valley's Streamside Bed and Breakfast
and North Carolina vacation cabins. Here, you sleep to the soothing sound of the tumbling stream, under the towering trees of this old-growth forest.
Popular with honeymooners and couples celebrating an anniversary, we also offer elopements at the bed and breakfast, and traditional weddings in Brigadoon Cove.
This exclusive property has only four rooms (two queen jacuzzi rooms, one king jacuzzi suite, and one king deluxe fireplace suite) and is situated well off the main road so it's secluded enough to ease all the city tensions away. And since every room enjoys that wonderful mountain creek tumbling past in a series of little waterfalls, you have the pleasure of learning the meaning of the phrase, "Stress is water-soluble."
If you're seek a luxurious spa experience, add a couples massage and your massage therapist will come to you. (All those hotel spas spend a great deal of energy trying to recreate our surroundings of mountainside forest and babbling brook!)
If you prefer a more energetic getaway, certainly there is plenty to do here in the Great Smoky Mountains: the National Park is nearby, as is the Blue Ridge Parkway, with lots of hiking trails, whitewater rafting and kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and trout fishing. Cultural attractions include the Cherokee Okonoluftee Village and Museum plus outdoor theater Unto These Hills, our marvelous local HART Theatre, and authentic bluegrass mountain music.
Nearby road trips include the Biltmore Estate in nearby Asheville, the Folk Art Museum, the Southern Highlands Arts and Crafts Guild, Gatlinburg (which is loud and noisy and raucus and fun, and then you get to return to the Quiet Side of the Smokies to relax), the Blue Ridge Parkway, the elk at Cataloochee Valley, and numerous waterfalls. (We loan our guide books to our guests!)
Give us a call toll-free at (888) 525-4218. We look forward to hearing from you.

Maggie Valley is half an hour due west of Asheville, at the southeast side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Timberwolf Creek is at an elevation of 3800 feet and is situated along a mountain stream which drops in a series of small waterfalls all the way down the property. It is in old-growth forest consisting of towering trees such as tulip, poplar, hemlock, maple, river birch, and oak. The Creek House (2 king suites plus additional rooms for whole-house rentals) is at the highest point, and sits on the east bank. The Black Bear Cottage in the Woods (2 queen jacuzzi rooms) is tucked into a secluded cove a bit downstream on the west bank. Brigadoon Cove (for weddings up to 50 guests) is in a hardwood cove furthest downstream and has a reflecting pond, terraced seating, a large deck, and is bordered completely by the stream and falls.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
