The Rhododendron Cabin is the perfect place for your next vacation in Asheville, NC. This 70 year old log cabin is set in a small neighborhood of similar cabins. Just minutes from the beautiful and historic downtown Asheville and the mountains of the Blue Ridge Parkway.



Restored in 2005,the Rhododendron Cabin offers an upscale sophisticated edge to the traditional rustic cabin. Emitting a romantic atmosphere from the cozy closeness and warm lighting throughout, that extends to the privacy of the professionally landscaped, fenced in back yard, there you'll find a flagstone back patio complete with a hot tub, useable Chiminiea and gas grill. Or inside, sit in front of the cozy fieldstone fireplace in the relaxing Sharper Image "Ijoy" massage chair and watch something from the movie collection on the 32" TV or just listen to something from the music library.



The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, and features silestone counter tops, a breakfast nook, washer and dryer, and breakfast goodies.

Located in East Asheville, The Rhododendron Cabin is within walking distance to many fine restaurants, the golf course and driving range and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Parkway offers hiking trails and miles of scenic views from Mt. Pisgah to the Craggy Gardens. Historic downtown Asheville is only minutes away, featuring unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and historic treasures such as the restored Thomas Wolfe home.



Nearby Biltmore Village offers many antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants as well as being across the street from the famous Biltmore Estate.



The French Broad River and surrounding mountain lakes and streams offer great trout fishing and water sports. The Billy Graham Training Center also know as "The Cove" is just a mile and a half from the Rhododendron and is within easy driving distance of Chimney Rock and Mt. Pisgah.
