Overview

If you crave the beauty and serenity of nature, peace and quiet, privacy and a chance to see deer and wild turkey close-up, our cottage is right for you. The cottage is situated on 11 acres of clearing and wooded areas. We are 15 minutes from Oneonta and just a short scenic drive from Oneonta to Cooperstown( home to Glimmerglass Opera, The Baseball Hall of Fame, and the Fenimore Museum). The cottage sits in a clearing on 11 acres of woods, perfect for bird watching with hiking and walking trails. The only sound you will hear at night is the sound of crickets, and the cottage is a great get-away. You can just relax and swim in our 20'x 40' heated pool, enjoy a picnic with an outdoor gas grill by the cottage, or have access to many fine, inexpensive, off the beaten path restaurants in the area.



What we offer is a vacation experience you will want to repeat. We are child and pet friendly as well as a non-smoking establishment. The cottage sleeps 1-6, has two bedrooms (a queen and the other with twins). There is a comfortable living room with a monitor/VCR with tapes, and a phone to make reservations wherever you might want to go. We have a fully equipped kitchen (including pots, pans, dishes, blender and coffee maker), and a full bathroom with tub and shower and the living room has two comfortable hotel quality singles. Ceiling fans cool the bedrooms and there is a heating system for chilly nights. Quilts, linens and towels and provided. A canoe is available for trips along the nearby Susquehanna and Unadilla rivers and for fishing on Lake Otsego in Cooperstown.
