Overview

This beautiful Off-Grid solar straw bale home is a very special Glacier Country vacation rental you will not want to leave! It is spacious yet cozy. The vaulted ceiling, hand stuccoed walls and log railings, and center support log in the main space give it a mythical feel. The entire house is hand made by the owners with attention to artistic details that are missed in professionally built high end homes.

Our location is 16 miles out of Kalispell, in the pine forests of western Montana. Hiking and winter XC skiing can be accessed out the door. We offer discounts to those who make their trip to Montana using less fossil fuels, Bicycle tourers can stay for $150/ off, Amtrak $100/off regular rates.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
