Overview
The Yooper Lodge is a vacationers/snowmobilers heaven in the Twin Lakes area of Toivola in Houghton County, Upper Michigan. It has fully equipped country kitchen including coffee! All you need to bring is the food you like to eat. A breakfast nook, a great place to play games in the evening, the livingroom has 2 hide-a-bed sofas, Satellite TV, VCR and movies. The diningroom has a large table by a picture window. There is a sunroom for storing your snow mobile suits/helmets etc. Upstairs are 4 cozy bedrooms ready for your great nights sleep. The lodge sleeps 14 people. "The Cubby" has 1 double bed, "The Bears Den" has 1 double bed and 3 twin beds, "Whitetail Haven" has 1 double bed & 1 twin bed, "The Moose Room" has 3 twin beds. There are 2 full bathrooms, one up and one down stairs. The lodge is on 8 acres of wooded land.
Located conveniently across the road is the groomed Bill Nichols Snowmobile trail #3! Providing easy access from the lodge. Gas is 2 miles down the Trail! We are centrally located and you can take the trail in every direction from our area.
The area offers excellent sight-seeing day trips. There are mine tours, Lake Superior, the unique town of Copper Harbor, Fort Wilkins, Brockway Drive, Porcupine Mountains, Houghton/Hancock lift bridge, MTU-mineralogical exhibit & museum, fabulous waterfalls, golf courses, State Parks, Beaches, really neat-old train trestles, there are festivals, with parades, fireworks and activities winter and summer. An absolute must for vacationers! Something for everyone!

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
