Overview

Our condo is one of the nicest condominiums within the Kauhale Makai (aka - Village by the Sea) Resort. We are located on the third floor in the Antherium building on the right hand corner of the complex. From our private lanai, which extends from the living room sliding glass doors to the master bedroom sliding glass doors, there is a fantastic ocean view.
Our unit is approximately 100 yards from the ocean - we are Oceanfront and beachfront. No crossing the stree to wiggle toes in the warm Maui sand! Even our pool and jacuzzi have an ocean view. Our beach is called Waipuilani and is not crowded with tourists; it is perfect for long morning strolls, beautiful sunset walks, collecting sea shells and watching the windsurfers! We are just a few yards away from the Kalepolepo whale sanctuary - during the whale watching season you can view these beautiful creatures from the privacy of our condo's private lanai.

We have a fully stocked kitchen with stocked spice rack, coffee maker, wine glasses, tea pot, blender - all the ammenities you might need for a great meal at home. If you are planning a day at the beach we have provided beach chairs, beach towels, beach mats, and umbrella! Our master bedroom features a queen size swedish style teak bed and ceiling fan. Our buiding is one of the few in the area with a New central air conditioning system - this condo will stay as cool as you like it!


We are only minutes away from Maui's world famous beaches and renowned golf courses and restaurants. Kihei's central location is convenient to most of Maui's natural attractions not to mention restaraunts, shopping, grocery stores and entertainment.

he Kauhale Makai resort is a 3.11 acre property that features a sparkling tile pool, jacuzzi, children's wading pool, putting green, gas barbeques, shuffle board, 4 public tennis courts, volleyball, dry sauna, laundry facilities. Sorry - no pets! (Condo rules prohibit pets.) Smoking is permitted on the lanai.



We're located in Kihei (pronounced key-hay) on the southwest coast of the island of Maui'i, approximately 20 minutes from Kahului airport and just north of Wailea and Makena. While the rest of the island may be cloudy or rainy, Kihei is generally sunny, dry, and warmer in the winter with gorgeous tropical breezes. (Hence our nickname "Sunny Kihei.") It is a 'quiet' part of island but still within walking distance are many wonderful restaurants, bars and coffee shops. It truly is the best of both worlds, offering relaxation and privacy as well as quick and easy access to world class nightlife and entertainment. Kihei is perfect for honeymooners, families, or anyone wanting relaxation as well as quick and easy access to all the fabulous nightlife, dining and entertainment that Maui has to offer.



Kauhale Makai's central location means that almost everything on the island is just a short drive away - the rugged coastlines and spectacular views of the road to Hana, the historic town of Lahaina, the world class shopping and golf courses of Wailea and Makena, and of course Kihei's own world class beaches including the spectacular Charlie Young Beach, which is the local name for "Kamaole Beach Park 1." You can work on your tan, swim, windsurf and snorkel 365 days a year in Kihei.
