Overview

The house is a blend of Hawaiian and Asian architecture, with a Kyoto style roof on a typically stilted foundation common for beach houses on the Hawaiian Islands. The interior has an Indonesian feel to it with rich Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors throughout. This spacious 3 bedroom home and gardens provide its guests with comfort, seclusion and the exhilaration of the Kauai’s north shore.

The house and setting will provide you with a vacation that is timeless, if you wish to get away and find a place reminiscent of Hawaii in kinder days then this is very likely it. The gentle trade winds carry the sounds of the ocean throughout the estate. The naturally curved reef nearby forces the waves to break unevenly resulting in the continuous rushing noise like a bubbling brook.

The Great Room of the living room, dining room and kitchen are entirely surrounded by walls of glass displaying the romantic beach and cove just 70 feet away. The couch is the size of a queen bed made entirely of Giant bamboo from Bali. Asian antiques and Hawaiian art accent this home you’ll never want to leave.

Off of the living room and separate from the rest of the house, the Master Bedroom has curved beam ceilings with a breathtaking view of the beach and reef. The garden view is of Mt. Mekana of Bali Hai fame with its cascading waterfalls. The dominating piece of furniture is the four poster bed made from Balinese giant bamboo. Peace and tranquility abound. There’s a spacious master bath with both shower and Jacuzzi, where you sit and watch the sunset or perhaps enormous sea turtles or dolphins and whales in the distance.

The second bedroom has high beamed ceilings, a wall of glass facing the ocean and a queen bamboo bed and Balinese teak furniture. The third bedroom has a pair of twin beds, curved beamed ceilings and an ocean view. The large and roomy residence can sleep six.
