Overview

Kit Carson's Lodge is a log cabin rental in the north Georgia mountains and is a great "hideout" from the stresses of everyday life! This new in 2005 log home is a beauty to behold with its lodge type furnishings, warm colors and family friendly environment. With three levels there is plenty of room for everyone to have their own private space or room to gather for family fun like watching movies in the game room or in the great room, playing a game of pool or sharing a family meal in the dining area which can accommodate 12 people. The kids will love the teepee up in the loft where they can play cowboys and Indians for hours of fun! Don't forget the large hot tub on the deck just outside the game room or the wonderful porch off the main floor which features a wicker table and chairs for morning coffee and rocking chairs facing the beautiful mountain view. Another unique feature of Kit Carson's Lodge are the 36" wide doorways throughout the home which can easily accomodate guests that use walkers or wheelchairs. These folks will also appreciate that the main floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths including one with a walk in Roman shower, kitchen, living room and access to the porch making it possible for them to enjoy this home without having to maneuver stairs. When you visit this cabin during the summer months you will receive a guest pass to the Tica Swim and Racquet Club compliments of the homeowners and a free gift basket!
