If you are in the mood for fine dining, there are many beautiful restaurants with fantastic menu choices. Locally caught seafood is always a favorite! There is a 13 screen movie complex as well as 2 wonderful theaters. The Nutcracker is a favorite for the Holidays along with several other wonderful plays and performances. The Vero Beach Museum of Art host great exhibitions and offers classes for beginners to advanced students in pottery, painting and jewelry making. A park for picnicking, jogging and exercise is near the museum and theater. On Ocean Drive, are many shops and restaurants. By car, a major shopping center and a collection of brand-name discount stores can be reached. 15 minutes from the Beach, 10 minutes to the Dodgers Baseball Stadium, 15 minutes to Outlet Mall; Disney World is about 90 minutes away by car. Cape Canaveral is 90 minutes away. Fort Lauderdale, The Everglades, and Tampa are about 2.5 hours away.

The Los Angeles Dodgers hold their spring training camp in Vero. This training complex is probably the most historic one in major league baseball. The facility was voted the best spring training facility in MLB! Come watch the pros and enjoy the great American past-time ... a Dodger Dog. You might even get the autograph you've always wanted!

If you have children or teenagers in your party they are sure to enjoy the "Skate Factory"; Vero Beach's premier family entertainment center. Offering skating, video arcade, parties, team sports such as speed skating, and roller hockey. Also, close by is the 13 cinema movie complex and "Screen on the Green" , an outdoor movie presentation every 3rd Sat on a 25' video screen. Bring your blankets and chairs with you to enjoy this unique, outdoor movie experience under the stars. In addition to movies and rollerskating; (March thru September) you can catch a professional Major League Baseball game at the stadium - only 10 minutes away; and of course checking out the array of brand name stores at the Outlet Mall is always a favorite past time to finish off the day.
