Situated only two miles from the entrance to DisneyWorld, Lake Buena Vista Resort provides a great location for all your Florida holiday desires. In addition to DisneyWorld, it has excellent proximity to Universal Studios, Sea World and the other many theme park attractions in the locale. Free scheduled transportation is provided to major theme parks in the area.



Equally close by are a number of championship golf courses, the massive International Drive shopping mall and Discovery Cove - for that swimming experience with dolphins. A short drive down the interstate will have you basking on the beautiful Florida beaches.

You can take a dip in the resort pool or relax in the hot tub or simply take a rest on one of the recliners by the pool. Opening during 2008 is a new pool which boasts a pirate ship complete with shooting water cannons and water slide, a poolside bar, jacuzzi style hot tubs, tumbling waterfalls and hammocks. If you fancy a bite, there is always the pool-side Pizza Hut. Located inside the resort, Frankie Farrell's Irish Pub & Grille is operated by an ex-Dublin pub owner who's brought to Florida some of the Irish magic. The friendly bartenders, good selection of Irish, English and American beers plus the live music every night make this a great place to relax at the end of a full day.

The resort includes a "state of the art" fitness centre / gymnasium. Inside the resort, there's a convenience store for all your necessities. Next door to the village are the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores - one of Orlando's premier outlet malls with over 50 stores offering designer goods at great prices. A forthcoming attraction is Lake Buena Vista's world-class, health spa offering a large range of spa services in an elegant setting.
