Overview

Everything about this villa says vacation. From the golden-colored walls, the palms draped over the entrance and the red-tiled roof, to the lush gardens, heated pool and feeling of being in a home away from home. With a wonderful feeling of space inside this three bedroom, three bathroom property that initial impression continues inside. With two king-size master suites, one with a private balcony and pergola and the other with a large oval jacuzzi tub, and a further twin-bedded room, this property is versatile as well. But whether you arrive as a small family, a group of friends or just the two of you, there is one spot which is certain to be the most popular. While the two terraces at the front of the villa offer lovely views and a shady spot to enjoy some peace and quiet, the showpiece of this villa is the large rooftop terrace which looks out across the island. If being up here doesn't give you that vacation feeling we will be amazed.

Location & area

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.

Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.
