Overview

Large enough to house even the most active family but intimate and cosy enough to make a couple feel completely at home, this beautiful residence has been designed for total comfort. Built to a high specification, each room is tastefully decorated and the high ceilings and the independent air-con system allows you to separately control the temperature in the upper and middle floors. With solid oak furniture throughout and file piled carpets in the bedrooms it is nice to feel the warmth of each room even when the sun is shining outside. To cool down you can enjoy the view from any of the three balconies or make your way up to the rooftop deck and survey the island from a wonderful vantage point. You will certainly want to make the most of this fantastic feature when the sun sets and puts on its nightly show of fantastic colors which fill the sky. With a heated pool outside, internal elevator to carry your bags, and well-stocked kitchen with additional dining area, you will feel so at home here you might never want to leave.

Location & area

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.

Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.
