Overview

The most striking feature as you pull up to this beautiful Mediterranean inspired villa is the imposing balconies and tall tower facing out to the west, in the direction of the scene of the most wonderful sunsets in the whole of Florida. Passing through the wrought iron gates this property is indeed impressive on the outside as well as the inside. The view from the tower is amazing and you might want to head straight up there to survey your new kingdom. Inside this luxury vacation home are three good sized bedrooms, and three private bathrooms. The master suite on the first floor has a king size antique style pine bed, large closet and glass sliders out to a private balcony, while another bedroom has twin beds. But the real fairytale ending comes in the tower with another master suite, featuring a king-sized four-poster bed, whirlpool bath and more fabulous views. The villa also has a landscaped pool and barbecue area and a separate dining area off the kitchen to enjoy a family meal. The living area has comfortable sofas and glass sliders out to one of those balconies at the front.

Location & area

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.

Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.
