Overview

Behind a white picket fence in a quiet residential neighborhood, this property looks so inviting from the outside, and does not disappoint on the inside. A perfect family home for a relaxing vacation, there are many reasons why this property will ensure you a perfect vacation. Just over two minutes' stroll to the seven miles of pure sand running the length of Anna Maria Island, and the same distance to the Holmes Beach shopping center, the cottage is perfectly placed for trips out and about on Anna Maria Island. With a lovely outside space in which to relax and a large sundeck with grill for those family cookouts, there is no real reason to leave home. Inside the high ceiling of the open living area remains cool even on the hottest days and the three large bedrooms offer quiet and comfortable spaces in which to relax. There is even an elevator to take your luggage up from the ground floor and space enough underneath the property for two cars. A delightful home from home in a really lovely spot.

Location & area

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.

Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.
