The Caribbean Island offers 3,046 square feet / 2,260 under central A/C plus 1,625 pool plus lanai area on a 10,000 square feet lot with tropical garden. It comfortably accommodates 6 adults / 2 kids and has southern exposure on a 100' saltwater waterway with Caribbean landscaping in the quite but central Golf-Club Area in SE Cape Coral. There are no long distances as to the SW. The living area is open style with kitchen / granite serving bar plus dining room all cathedral ceiling. It is allergy-friendly equipped with ceramic tiled floors throughout the house. We offer those who need their notebooks W-LAN High-speed Internet at no additional cost. The highlight is our stunning electrically heated 'disappearing edge' pool - approx. 15' x 30' and whirlpool (electric heat). We offer 1,625 square feet screened pool area / sun decks incl. lanai (366 square feet). Private boat dock / sun deck has 200 square feet. You have access to the Gulf by boat in just 30 min no lock, just 1 bridge 9.25 ft. The Caribbean Island will meet all your demands!

Minimum 2 weeks stay is required during Easter and Christmas.
Children: Under 12 years of age are free
Maximum occupation: 6 Adults plus 2 children
Rate includes: Bedding, hand-, shower- and beach towels, service for pool and garden, garbage collection, basic charge for TV and telephone, local calls, water, gas (grill), W-LAN high-speed Internet access (Road Runner High Speed Online), service of bilingual property manager (German and English)
Security deposit: $500
Cleaning charge: $130 up to 2 people, > 2 people $150. Regarding fiscal considerations, please note that the cleaning fees are charged directly by the property manager.
Electricity: $25 per week is already included in the rental rate.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION: To get to the Caribbean Island is quite easy! The most convenient way is to take a plane to Southwest Florida International Airport, Fort Myers (just 30 minutes ride to the house). In Fort Myers you DO NOT NEED any shuttle to get to the car rental company! All rental companies are located directly in the airport! Should you arrive at Miami International Airport the ride to our house is about 2:30 hours and from Orlando International Airport 3:20 hours.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
