Overview

An absolute gem of a cottage and one of the prettiest homes on Anna Maria Island, this beautiful home will change your view of vacation rentals forever. Behind the white picket fencing and established gardens lies a two-bedroom home of real character nestled right on the edge of the waters of Anna Maria Sound. Enjoy the incredible views out towards the mainland or stroll down to your private dock for a spot of fishing. The perfect place for a romantic getaway, you might also want to share this little piece of paradise with friends as it sleeps up to six if you wish to make use of the spacious mezzanine floor. The interior is decorated in a stylish mix of nautical and Scandinavian design and just because it looks quaint does not mean we have skimped on the luxury. There is a TV in every room and all home entertainment comforts, as well as high-speed internet access and a telephone with free local calls. Yes, the inside is special, but the outside will have you wanting to come back again and again, with landscaped grounds featuring flowering hibiscus and tropical plants and, of course, those views.

Location & area

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.

Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.
